VICKI LOGOPATI – KIWI #49
Vicki Logopati was part of New Zealand’s successful women’s World Cup campaign in 2000.
The Kaiapoi Bulldogs star played one of the Ferns’ four matches at the England-hosted tournament, scoring a try in the 50-6 semi-final demolition of Australia.
A New Zealand touch rugby, Samoa rugby union, Samoa rugby sevens, Samoa rugby league, Niue touch rugby and Canterbury rugby union rep, she enjoyed remarkable longevity in the 13-a-side code.
The dynamic Logopati featured in Papanui’s 2017 Grand Final victory, was one of the best players on the field as the Tigers went down in an epic decider to Linwood Keas in 2018 and helped Sydenham Swans to the 2020 CRL Women’s Premiership title – 20 years after her sole Kiwi Ferns appearance.
