Coach Development

Canterbury Rugby League can support our coaches in a variety of ways. Our Coach Development Strategy below identifies how we can support with: accessible and engaging courses, club coaching capability, coach identification and retention, and pathways & high performance delivery. CRL’s Coach Development Framework illustrates the progressing levels of a coaching journey and how CRL and clubs support each stage of development. Junior coaches are expected to referee games up to 10s, but may be required to referee up to 12s. Please review your grade in the Junior Rules Guideline (Nursery – 12s).
