Linfield Park To Host CRL Grand Final Day
Canterbury Rugby League is pleased to announce 2017 grand final day will be hosted by Linfield Park in Linwood on Sunday, August 13.
The major weather event two weeks ago caused the finals series to be postponed by a week, meaning original grand final venue AMI Stadium was no longer available, but CRL is delighted to have secured the highest-quality alternative for our marquee event.
Boasting first-rate amenities and an outstanding playing surface, Linfield Park ranks among Canterbury’s premier winter code sports fields, and is often used by both national and international teams for training due to its high-quality pitch.
Rugby league fans will be treated to an action-packed day of footy and entertainment, featuring four games: the 16s grand final, the Canterbury Cup grand final, the women’s grand final and the premier men’s grand final.
Canterbury Rugby League would like to thank Aaron Flynn and the Linfield Cultural Recreational Sports Club for helping make possible what we’re sure will be a fantastic day for our game.
We look forward to seeing you at Linfield Park next Sunday for CRL grand final day.
