Exciting Bulls Announcement

Canterbury Rugby League wish to advise that Jed Lawrie has been re-appointed as the Head Coach for the Canterbury Bulls 2023 Campaign. Jed had a successful first season in 2022 where he took the Bull’s to the National Men’s Premiership Grand Final. Jed will be assisted by Andrew Auimatagi and Louis Fanene. Canterbury Rugby League CEO, Malcolm Humm said, ‘we are delighted that Jed has made himself available to coach the Canterbury Bulls for the 2023 season’. Jed’s first year as a Head Coach was a successful one, we were impressed with the way Jed prepared the team, built on the team culture and raised the expectation of what was required on and off the field. We are also delighted that Jed will have Andrew and Louis at his side as this combination worked well in 2022 and ensures we continue to leverage off Andrew’s knowledge and experience whilst also providing Louis with a pathway to coaching at a higher level.

Canterbury Rugby League is waiting for confirmation of the Women’s 2023 National Premiership before it proceeds with the naming of coaching staff.
