BARTERCARD NZ PARTNERS WITH 2021 CRL MEN’S PREMIERSHIP

Canterbury Rugby League is proud to announce Bartercard New Zealand has partnered with the CRL Men’s Premiership for the 2021 season.

The partnership continues Bartercard’s long and highly-valued affiliation with rugby league nationally and locally, including the NZRL Bartercard Cup/Premiership competitions – which featured the Canterbury Bulls – from 2000-10, and its support of the Bulls v Toa Samoa fixture at Ngā Puna Wai in 2018.

“Canterbury Rugby League are excited to renew a partnership with Bartercard New Zealand at a regional level after strong history in the recent era of the game,” CRL CEO Duane Fyfe says.

“The Bartercard Cup is where the Bulls moniker was first adopted in 2000, while there was a renewal of that relationship in 2018 when Bartercard New Zealand partnered Canterbury Rugby League when the Bulls played the Toa Samoa International team.

“Having Bartercard New Zealand back in the fold for our Club campaign as the Men’s Premiership competition sponsor in support of grassroots rugby league shows a commitment to our community game that is very welcome.”

The Bartercard CRL Men’s Premiership gets underway on Saturday, April 10, with the first of 14 regular-season rounds, and concludes on Grand Final Day at Ngā Puna Wai on Sunday, August 15.

“Bartercard are proud to renew our partnership with Canterbury Rugby League,” Bartercard New Zealand National Sponsorship Manager Ross Hamilton says.

“It is great to support rugby league at grassroots level – this is where our next generation of Kiwis and Kiwi Ferns players comes from. We look forward to a fantastic local season in Canterbury and wish all clubs participating every success.”
