The Rockcote Canterbury Bulls’ 2019 NZRL National Premiership campaign ended in disappointment courtesy of a 28-10 loss to Akarana Falcons. But it was nevertheless a watershed season from the Andrew Auimatagi-coached side, who won all three of their round-robin matches to qualify for their first final since 2015 – and earned the right to host the decider at Ngā Puna Wai.
