Burnham Chevaliers junior Jazz Tevaga produced another workhorse display in the Warriors’ controversial loss to Parramatta, despite leaving the field with an injury.
The lock topped his team’s tackle count with 50 stops in 63 minutes, as well as making 12 runs for 84 metres against the Eels.
Fellow ex-Chevalier Kodi Nikorima was sidelined by an ankle injury.

Aranui Eagles product Jamayne Isaako’s return to form continued with a try, five goals and 151 running metres in Brisbane Broncos’ 34-12 thrashing of Gold Coast Titans.
After failing to score a try in the first 17 rounds, the winger now has two in his last two games.

Halswell product Matt McIlwrick played 71 minutes at hooker in Wentworthville Magpies’ 30-22 loss to the Warriors, making 39 tackles and four dummy-half runs, as well as producing a try-assist.
Hornby old boy Fa’amanu Brown had a busy game at halfback in Canterbury Bulldogs’ 32-12 loss to Newtown Jets. He ran for 80 metres on 10 carries and made 14 tackles but had an off day with the boot, missing all three conversion attempts.

Jordan Riki played 30 minutes off the bench in Norths Devils’ 16-12 victory over Ipswich Jets, impressing on attack with nine carries for 73 metres.

Joseph Taipari kicked three goals in Parramatta Eels’ 34-18 loss to the Warriors at North Harbour Stadium, moving to halfback for the blue-and-golds this week.
Sua Ailoilo helped Canterbury Bulldogs’ to a 12-10 win over Cronulla after starting at prop.
