Jamayne Isaako put one hand on the Dally M Rookie of the Year and Top Pointscorer trophies in a brilliant performance as Brisbane Broncos upset Sydney Roosters 22-8 on Saturday night.

The Aranui Eagles junior scored a dazzling try and kicked five goals in the high-quality victory to take his season tally to 213 points.

Burnham Chevaliers product Kodi Nikorima also dotted down as he outpointed opposing halfback Cooper Cronk.

Jazz Tevaga had another solid outing as the Warriors sealed a spot in the NRL finals with a 36-16 thrashing of Penrith.

The gutsy utility reeled off 11 carries and a team-high 36 tackles from the bench in his 18th top-grade appearance of the season.

Pita Godinet was at hooker for Western Suburbs Magpies in their 32-12 defeat to Newtown Jets.

In potentially his last game on Australian soil, Lewis Brown played at hooker in Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles’ 12-all draw with the Panthers.
