CANTERBURY RUGBY LEAGUE PARTNERS WITH LE SPORTSWEAR

Canterbury Rugby League is excited to welcome LE (Limited Edition) Sportswear to its family of sponsors, taking over as CRL’s official apparel partner.

Brisbane-based LE Sportswear will manufacture and supply a new strip for the Rockcote Canterbury Bulls ahead of their 2018 NZRL National Premiership campaign, as well as a new strip for Canterbury Rugby League’s referees.

“We’re really, really pleased to be involved with Canterbury Rugby League,” LE Sportswear’s Kris Pillay said.

“We’ve tried to partner with Canterbury Rugby League in the past but it hasn’t gone to that next step. Now it has, and it’s obviously big part of our growth into the New Zealand market.

“Canterbury Rugby League having the Bulls playing in the national comp is great for us as well.”

LE Sportswear have already made a major imprint in the rugby league apparel sphere in New Zealand – they are the official apparel partner of Southern Zone Rugby League and the South Island Scorpions, Wellington Rugby League and Rugby League Northland.

The company also recently sealed a four-year extension as the apparel partner of 2017 Rugby League World Cup semi-finalists Fiji Bati.

“This partnership just adds to what we’re trying to bring to the New Zealand market, also showing the clubs are under these organisations what we can do in regards to the quality we can provide and delivery times, which a lot of people are having issues with at the moment,” Pillay explained.

“We have a 4-6 week turnaround and we deliver on what we say.”
