Canterbury squad for the Queens Birthday clash against Auckland Vulcans
Rockcote Canterbury Bulls Coach Andrew Auimatagi and his selectors have named a Canterbury squad to prepare for the Queens Birthday weekend clash with the Auckland Vulcans 21’s team. This game will be played on Monday 6th June at Canterbury Agricultural Park with kickoff at 2pm
This Canterbury squad has been chosen with an eye to the future and to allow the selectors a chance to see players perform against a top Auckland side. These players have the opportunity of forcing their way into contention for the Rockcote Canterbury Bulls squad to be named later in the year to prepare for the National Premiership Competition and the Canterbury team that will compete in the National Championship competition. Youth and potential sprinkled with some experienced players are features of the squad ,with a spread of players coming from all 8 Premier teams.
The first training run for the squad will be held on Wednesday 11th May commencing at 6pm sharp with players to assemble at 5.45pm at Bishopdale Park. Any players unavailable should contact manager Mel Mather – on 027 4278667.
